Toughened Glass
At Caldwells, we have our own toughening plant allowing us to toughen glass to both E11 R43 & EN12150-1 standards. We are accredited and audited by the Vehicle Certification Agency (VCA) & the British Standard Institution (BSI) to ensure we continually provide products of the highest quality.
Our toughening plant allows us to toughen glass between 4mm and 19mm thick up to a maximum size of 1500mm x 2500mm.
CNC Glass
Within the last year, we have had two brand new Denver CNC machines installed on site.
Using these machines we can produce glass balustrades for staircases, shower door screens, splashbacks with cut outs for sockets, shelves and many other bespoke glass products.
Double Glazing
We manufacture double glazed units for a variety of uses.
We have 4mm, 6mm, 10mm and 12mm spacer bars which can be made up into double glazed units to best suit your specifications.
Fire Resistant Glass
We are able to supply fire rated glass for various applications such as stoves or fire doors.

Mirrors
We can provide mirror cut to bespoke shapes and sizes in a variety of thickness’. For additional protection, we can supply safety backing on the back of all mirrors.
We provide different styles of mirror including:
- Silvered
- Grey or Bronze Tinted
- Bronze or Silver Antique
- Silvered, Bronze or Grey Toughened
Splashbacks
Bespoke splashbacks are available in either a glass or mirrored finish.
Our glass splashbacks are produced using Opti – White glass in order to give a high quality finish without any distortion in the colours. You can choose from any colour on the RAL colour chart or even send us a custom image to be printed on to the glass.
Our mirror splashbacks are available in any of the following styles:
- Silvered
- Grey or Bronze Tinted
- Bronze or Silver Antique
- Silvered, Bronze or Grey Toughened
Our CNC machine will cut out any shapes or sockets required.
